Is there anyone from Yunnan in Hainan who can explain? I just had a new dish called “ma pi pao”. It tastes a bit soft and crunchy, and I stir-fried it with sauerkraut. It should have chili, but since I have a cold, I skipped it. The flavor of the mushrooms is really hard to describe, but it’s great to have a place here to enjoy them without flying to Yunnan!
